Each year, a week before St. Patrick's Day, St. Augustine kicks off the Irish celebration with their St. Patrick's Parade. As bagpipe players and Irish dancers make their way along the parade route, droves of tourists and locals flood the sidewalks, decked head to toe in their best green apparel.
After the parade, which ends at Francis Field, the real festivities begin with the Celtic Music & Heritage Festival.
