When you're visiting St. Augustine, you have plenty of dining options to choose from. St. Augustine restaurants offer everything from freshly caught seafood to barbecue, vegan, Asian, and so much more. Here are a few of our favorite St. Augustine restaurants to put on your list when you visit us at Creston House.

American

Ned’s Southside Kitchen, a small restaurant serving up generous portions of American Cuisine on US 1 South.

Seafood

O’Steens on A1A is a favorite local seafood restaurant that is cash only.

Schooner’s Seafood House is worth the drive to US 1 North for great seafood.

The Reef – seafood served with beautiful views on A1A North

Varied Cuisine

Sunset Grille is seafood and American restaurant on A1A Beach Blvd with a beachy décor.

Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille right on the bayfront, serves southern, cajun, and creole flavors in classic and modern dishes.

Mango Mangos - Caribbean & American bites & daily happy hour at an island-style bar/grill a block from the beach on A1A Beach Blvd. The Yucca Fries are well worth the upcharge!

Aunt Kate’s – seafood eatery with water views and a varied menu that is accessible by boat and by car in Vilano Beach.

Cap’s on the Water - sunset views from the wooden deck, an oyster bar & local seafood make this another favorite local’s spot in Vilano Beach.

Prohibition Kitchen – located in the heart of downtown, this spacious, gastropub offers cocktails, gourmet pub grub & live entertainment. It’s always a fun spot on St. George St.

Breakfast and Brunch

The Blue Hen Café, close to downtown on Martin Luther King Ave, features Southern Comfort Food for breakfast and brunch.

Burgers

One Twenty Three Burger House on King St. delivers on its name – great burgers as well as pizza and other comfort foods.

Obi’s Fillin’ Station is a gas station–themed diner serving American fare, including burgers & breakfast, with a garage-themed décor on A1A Beach Blvd.

Asian

Green Papaya Thai & Sushi Cuisine is a favorite spot for their Sushi Bar, Thai, and Seafood cuisine located at the intersection of St. Rd. 207 and US 1.

Vegan/Vegetarian

Manatee Café – vegetarian & vegan breakfast & lunch fare, plus gluten-free options in Westgate Plaza on St. Road 16.

Present Moment Café - vegetarian cafe serving salads, wraps & other mostly raw dishes on W. King St. 

Farm to Table

Preserved – eatery serving Southern cuisine made from local ingredients, plus reserved wines. Located in historic Lincolnville, at the corner of Bridge Street and MLK Boulevard, this restaurant is located in the beautifully preserved Jefferson House. 

BBQ

Brisky’s BBQ – this restaurant is well worth the drive up US 1 North just past St. Rd. 16 to enjoy a menu specializing in an array of smoked meats & classic comfort sides.

Sonny’s – This restaurant which began in Gainesville, FL has been a favorite BBQ eatery for Floridians for years. Their baked beans are the best! There are two locations, one on US 1 South and on St. Rd. 16.

Food Trucks

Nalu’s Tropical Take-out – this popular food truck parked at The Surf Station on A1A South offers a window service menu specializing in fish & seafood tacos, wraps, & nachos with picnic table seating.

The Village Garden Food Truck Park – located on old A1A, this collection of food trucks offers menus for every taste! 

Peruvian

LaTaza Coffee and More – a favorite of the staff at Coastal Realty, this restaurant serves espresso drinks & smoothies, plus Peruvian sandwiches & salads, on A1A South close to our main office.
